SCI Re-granting Scheme to EU members
Partnership on Peace
Organizations operating in countries that are part of the European Union (EU) were asked to submit proposals to Service Civil International’s (SCI) International Secretariat (IS) for upcoming projects in the year 2023. This was made possible by the EU’s Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) Operating Grant. Following the call, 10 branches submitted their projects.
The Re-granting Scheme’s goal is to provide financial assistance to network branches so that they may engage in activities that promote both SCI’s fundamental principles and EU values.
Following an established procedure, the following five projects were chosen from the ten that were submitted for the regranting scheme:
- Volunteering for Peace – SCI Poland
- Solidarity Project – CVS Bulgaria
- Learning from history! Memorial camps in times of war – SCI Germany
- EU for all – SCI Hellas
- Local Re-Activation: 75 years of SCI Italy activism – SCI Italy
We look forward to seeing the selected re-granting scheme project begin implementation.
